The fries were amazing too: golden, crunchy, and surprisingly light. And the tartar sauce? Absolute magic. A rich, tangy blend that felt like a secret recipe made with love. Paired the meal with a 33 Acres of Ocean Pale Ale, which went down incredibly smooth and balanced everything beautifully. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, but what really made it special was the exceptional service. My server was cheerful, attentive, and even opened the door for me on my way out. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal. But the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the fish and chips. They were, hands down, the best I have ever tasted! The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The chips were golden and seasoned to perfection. “ This wee chippy has been around for a lot of years. It's changed hands a few years ago. I've never had a bad meal in this establishment and now they have a great appy of 4 deep fried shrimp that are quite big for $3.99. I love their fish and usually share a 3 occasionally. Cod with my husband. It's a great location and nice to see a local establishment still getting busy with local customers thru the years. ”

“ A lovely place and I'm so so so glad I stumbled upon it! Everyone is so nice and they were happy to comply with small requests such as getting our drinks as the food arrived instead of immediately! The portions were a lot bigger than I originally anticipated which was a delight for the reasonable price. I almost couldn't finish what I ordered! I'm a huge fan of the coleslaw (it was super fresh and crisp) and it paired perfectly with the fish. I've taken the time to try out all of the different kinds of fish offered and my personal favorite is wild cod! It was soft and flavorful, with a hint of salt. “ After getting off the ferry, Chris and I were both craving some good fish and chips — and this place absolutely hit the spot! We each ordered the two-piece wild cod (perfectly crispy and fresh). Chris had his with fries, and I went with the Caesar salad — both were excellent! Everything came out hot, flavorful, and beautifully cooked.
